TRANSIT was established in June 1998 with the aim of bridging the gap between the transport and information technology industry. Being one of the few companies to be an organization member of the Chartered Institute of Transport, it focused its business areas in providing technologies and solutions for Malaysian Transport Industry.

Off with the modest start, TRANSIT initially was based at a one and a half storey shop office in Gombak with a staff strength of 12 young energetic and vibrant individuals focusing mainly into land public transportation sector.

Gradually growing to be more service oriented and reaching a wider range of customers across the transportation industry, TRANSIT now has the strength of 22 and counting. In order to be more efficient and react faster to the growing demands of the industry, TRANSIT relocated to a light industrial area which provides ample space for maintenance and servicing works.

To date TRANSIT's customer profile have include public operators, regularly bodies, local councils as well as various organizations which business interest and projects includes the toll collection, traffic as well as consultancy and project management solutions.

Synergy partnership as well as strategic alliances has formed the backbone of TRANSIT solutions to its customers. This will ensure that TRANSIT solutions will be backed and supported by our internal support staff as well as readable principles. Among our notable transport solutions business partners are SAINCO TRAFFICO, SIEMENS, SES, WAYFARER, MAGNETICS and AMPER as well as numerous local entities.

In the process on implementing the systems offered by TRANSIT, support services have played a major role in ensuring the success of solutions designed for the European and US markets. These solutions mat at times not conform to the Malaysian environment. Furthermore TRANSIT offers comprehensive after sales support in order to ensure that implementation of such systems does not affect the operational aspect of the business.
